I’m not saying I’m an expert on taking pictures but trough the years I’ve learned a thing or two about photography. The most important prop you need is the light, either natural or with the help of some source of illumination. But I love and adore natural light. The best time to shoot is in the early morning or late afternoon because the sun is lower and it creates beautiful shadows and reflections. Most of the time I like to take pictures when the sun is setting behind me so the light doesn’t wash me out but still gives just the right amount of brightness to the pictures.
To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. I’m very happy and glad that I have such a great photographer (my brother) because he never just takes a picture. He always tries to capture the moment as best as possible and takes advantage of everything that is around me, the background, the floor, anything that could make a picture a little more interesting. For me taking pictures is not just standing in front of the camera but I try to portray a feeling, a vibe. I don’t want my blog just to be like an ootd gallery because we have enough of those. I want to create unique pictures that stand out.! You with me?
