Today’s blog will be a little different from the others. I will share with you my story. Last few years I wasn’t really feeling good or confident in my body and since I’m turning 20 this year I decided to make a change.

A lot of people didn’t believe me at first because they all thought I was just making silly New Years resolutions and that it won’t last long, but that was not the case. I was very determined to make a change and start a more healthy life. The first thing I did was get myself a personal trainer, just to show me how to train and eat properly. Trough our workout sessions I was slowly getting to know my body and its limits and I must admit I was quite amazed sometimes.

But working out isn’t everything so the second thing i did was change my eating habits and that was the hardest part for me. Saying no to pasta and creamy cheese sauces? Cried myself to sleep a few times. All jokes aside, I did a lot of research on what to eat and which are the foods that do great things to my body. I really must say that food is 80% of the progress. If you eat good you feel good and you have a lot more energy trough out the day.

Since I started my “Fitness project” I had a lot of ups and downs. Lacking motivation was number one problem and also my laziness. Therefore my mind was my worst enemy. But as I was slowly starting to see the results I gained motivation and the road to achieving my goals got easier.

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. I still have a long way to go and I would like to take you on this jurney with me!
