It’s funny how people change trough time, they slowly start growing up but don’t even notice it. When people tell me “you’ve changed” I never know if it’s a compliment or am I doing something wrong. I believe that every change is good , it all happens for a reason and sometimes the biggest problem is in your head. You’ve got to believe in yourself and trust the process.
How I see my personal growth is trough my style and how I evolve trough time. Many say well yeah she’s spending all her money on new clothes and is trying to fit in, not true honey! It’s not about the new clothes but it’s about what I wear and how I wear it. As I’ve said before I’ve never been a confident girl but now I’m starting to love my body and my confidence is getting bigger every day.
I really love to simplify my looks, because I’ve been loving the minimalistic and monochromatic vibes lately. Last year I was all about simple and casual baggy clothes with statement jewellery pieces which I still love, don’t get me wrong, but as I see it now I was hiding behind all that jewellery and was letting it outshine me.
But this year I’m turning the tables and leaving my clutter at home. My minimalistic black outfit says confidence all over and I’m loving it. I prefer skipping the detailing and just opt for clean lines. Minimalism is a bit impersonal but I think It’s your job to put the character in to the outfit and not the other way around.
